I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you're not you're NOT!

I play basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets very fun on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this tactic! And a couple of days ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You must comprehend that you can relinquish a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Bet 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the initial 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar

Wager $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Wager 10 dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet $20
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager

Wager twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of $40

Wager forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you mustn't alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
