I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of cash at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have wagered on a type of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you're not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Paris a few years ago with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!

You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet five dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the first $5 bet

Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar

Wager 20 dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first twenty dollar wager

Wager $20
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Bet $80
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original eighty dollar bet

Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager

If you left at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn't alter and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
