I have played countless of rounds of twenty-one. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of streaks. When you're on fire your hot, and when you're not you're NOT!

I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don't win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don't win I return the bet back down to the original sum.

I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this tactic! And a few weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be aghast at the runs you notice playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $10

Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager

Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take twenty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 20 dollar bet

Wager $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager $40
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first forty dollar wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 bet

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!

It's hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can't deviate and lower your bet or the end result won't be the same.
