I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of funds at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you're on fire your hot, and when you're not you're NOT!

I bet with basic strategy 21. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I lose again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original amount.

I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very fun on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a number of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!

You have to understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 table.

Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of $10

Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar wager

Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 40 dollar

Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager

Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80

Wager 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial 80 dollar wager

Bet $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar

Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you left at this instance you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can't alter and drop your wager or the end result won't be the same.
