I have bet on millions of rounds of blackjack. I began working my way into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost a lot of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the casino.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you're NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the wager back down to the original value.

I am very strict and never "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar

Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the original $20 bet

Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original $40 wager

Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of eighty dollar

Wager $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can't deviate and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
