I have wagered on millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.

I still like the game and play on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get flush with this method or defeat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is centered on the fact that 21 seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you're not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I do not win again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet $5
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar wager

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10

Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar wager

Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20

Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet

Wager $20
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Bet $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $160

Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 bet

If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!

It's hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the end result will not be the same.
