Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a roller coaster. Black jack is a game that starts off slowly, but gradually gains speed. As you ramp up your bank roll, you feel like you are making moves to the top of the coaster and then when you least expect it, the bottom falls.

Blackjack is so much like a crazy ride the similarities are spooky. As with the popular fair ride, your black jack game will peak and things will be going well for awhile before it bottoms out again. You most certainly have to be a gambler that will be able to readjust to the ups ... downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is choked full of them.

If you like the small coaster, one that doesn't go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the crazy ride is with a fatter bet, then jump aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-roller will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he or she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush headlong to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in black jack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it's going up, that's all lovely, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to flip and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don't, you will not recount how much you enjoyed the good life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a crazy fun ride and your head in the stratosphere. As you are thinking on "what ifs", you won't clearly recount how "high up" you went but you will quickly remember that disastrous fall as clear as day.
